Great Result
Day 3
Having gone the wrong way in the set up for Race 2, the team went back tho their base line set up for the 3rd and final race.
Fishtail would start out of 4th place and the challenge was to finish in 3rd place in order to secure second outright for the weekend.
Fortunately the changes did the job and in a shorten race due to a huge crash in V8 Supercars qualifying Top 10 Fishtail got the job done with a great overtaking move into turn 2. He then went on to set the fastest lap of the race as he chased down 1st and 2nd however ran out of laps and bought it home in 3rd place.
Speaking after the race Fishtail said, after what happened in Tassie with the flat tyre and engine drama I really wanted to bring home a great result for the team and 2nd place certainly fulfilled that. We have had a great weekend with fantastic interaction with the crowds and a huge amount of exposure on the telecast.
I am now looking forward to swapping my helmet for my cap as I visit a number of High Schools and Gaol in the coming week.”
