Bathurst Day 3
Starting from 7th place for the second race in a row, Fishtail got off to a great start. He was able to run with the guys towards the front and moved up to 6th position.
Unfortunately the gear shift issues that plagued the car yesterday returned and he had trouble selecting gears at the end of the chase and the last turn which resulted in him losing a spot and coming home in 7th for the 3rd time over the weekend. Whilst disappointed to not finish further up Fishtail reflected on a positive weekend. “Not having a test day affected my ability to really get the most out of the car however consistency meant the we were able to finish the weekend on equal points in 5th place. Thanks to all the guys at Dream Racing and our friends who were cheering us on and praying for us over the weekend.”
Fishtail will stay on at Bathurst where he will speak to the guys in the maximum security section of the gaol tomorrow.
