Final day in Tassie

Moving up to ProMasters
Today was almost the opposite of yesterday where nothing went right for the Jesus Racing Team. Fishtail made a great start from the front row of the grid and was putting pressure on Steve Johnson only to get a puncture that forced him to pit for a new tyre. Having gone a lap down there was nothing to be gained from tearing up the car so Fishtail coasted around to collect the maximum points he could.
Race 3 saw Fisher starting in 8th position. He got a great start and quickly moved through the field and into second place. Fishtail was reeling in the race leader Steve Johnson however just as he came up on the back of him something let go in the engine and the race was over for the Jesus Racing Holden Torana.
Speaking after the race Fishtail said “it is so frustrating for the team, we had great pace and were set for an amazing result for round 1 however now find ourselves way back in the field. The good news is we had lots of speed however we now have to deal with the issue of a broken engine through no fault of our own. With just 10 days before the team has to arrive in Newcastle time is going to be of the essence.
We will keep you informed of our progress as the days unfold.
