Weekend wrap and the week ahead

Pole Position for Jesus Racing
Well that was a great weekend of racing….
We came 2nd in Race 1 just 0.5 seconds behind the winner Steven Johnson (Dick Johnsons son and ex V8 supercar racer). Race 2 we came 7th in a wet and wild race, we should have been second but Fishtail ran off at turn 1 on the restart after a safety car and had to come back through the pack. Race 3 saw Fishtail come from 7th on the grid to claim 3rd position meaning he came 3rd outright for the weekend and won the ProAm class for the 3rd round in a row.
Fishtail enjoyed spraying the champaign from the famous Bathurst podium.
The great news is that Fisher is now leading the ProAM championship by 31 points with one round to go and is 21 points from claiming 3rd outright for the Touring Car Masters Series.
After a tough and exhausting weekend of racing, Andrew headed further West where he has begun a week of touring local High Schools and detention centres before returning home on Friday.
We look forward to keeping you up to date as we lead up to the final round of the 2022 Touring Car Masters Series which will be held on the streets of Adelaide in the first week of December.
All the best,
The Jesus Racing Team
